Breakins and robberies in East Northport/Smithtown/Commack/Hauppauge
SO since yesterday, Ive heard of
robberies in Smithtown/Hauppauge, in the brooksite are, about NINE in the past month   (have all been at home, when noone was home). I heard they have a neighborhood watch out.
and just recently heard of car-break-ins at several East Northport elem school parking lots, Lucille Roberts, and a few other places in the area.
Everyone keep your eyes open, and your cars empty.

We received a notice home for the people that leave an older child in a car to run in to pick up a younger child.
Several local stores - Dunkin Donuts, the high school, etc.
I'm such an idiot not to have posted it on here to warn other residents. I was so wrapped up in bringing the notice into my daycare to warn other parents.

A friend of mine who lives in E.Npt on the south side of Jericho by Commack has her neighbors car broken into too.

i live in northport and there was a break-in down the street from me last thurs. occurred b/t the hours of 12-3pm. the owners sent a letter to all the neighbors. thankfully no one was home at the time.

Oh my! Thank you for the warning-- good to know.
I keep the house alarm on RELIGIOUSLY normally-- but now I'll definitely make sure it is ALWAYS on!!
