Boys and girls the difference

So, I was thinking about Donna's post about Noah and thought about my two.

They are so different...Claire is independent, self soothing, Fantastic sleeper, a really great child. James is whiney, needy, horrible sleeper, but I love him anyway!

After years of being a teacher it is so interesting to notice the HUGE differences between girls and boys. For those of you that have both, do you see the same things?

Both my DH and I agree that boys are more needy in the infancy stage. DS is only 5 months so we'll have to see as he gets older what the case is.

I do. Only a little though.

My Chat Icon is easy going, quiet, very independant.

My Chat Icon cries all day long, is a tough cookie basically.

But, really, its not fair to compare since it's all relative to age.

Both were excellent babies, never any trouble, go-with-the-flow, great eaters and sleepers. I think my DD is just hitting her terrible 2's.

We're going through the same thing, but in our case genders are reversed since my dd is older. I agree it's an age thing, my son is doing many of the same things my daughter did at this age. To the point of being obsessed with the same shows and toys even. It's a little creepy.

This is so true - boys and girls are very different!!!!

My daughter is an in your face personality - she needs your 100% attentions at all times - a real show off. But totally independent in that she needs to do everything herself.

Her twin - my son - is the total opposite of her - he is more reserved, wants to learn everything - his letters, numbers - however he does throw his share of temper tantrums which she doesn't usually do.

My daughter is very bossy and loves to take care of her brother - we call her the "little mommy".
