Bouncy Seat

When did you start using this? Did you use it for entertainment and/or feeding?

TIA

Re: Bouncy Seat

We use it for entertainment but I try not to overdo it. I try to hold her and interact with her as much as possible.
It comes in handy when you're making a bottle, trying to eat lunch, taking a shower etc. Just be prepared in the beginning some babies have a short attention span so you may only get 5-10 min at a time but now if I need to I can keep Miranda in there about 30 min but I usually have to talk to her while I am doing whatever it is I am doing.

ETA: I think we started around 2-3 weeks old.

I put Alex in his the 1st day home from the hospital. He was slightly jaundice so they told us to sit him in the front of a window and let the sun hit him, HA what a joke in Ireland. I had to put a receiving blanket to prop him up. Here he is (Have to resize)

We used it for sleeping from the get-go. We had a bouncy seat that was deep so he felt snuggled up in it.

Re: Bouncy Seat

We started using it the first week home from the hospital, mostly for entertainment, but occasionally he'd fall asleep in there.

We started using it the first week. Sarah had her days and nights mixed up and her doctor said that it might help lull her to sleep at night. Worked like a charm, we'd wait until she conked out and then move her to the crib. Then we'd get about 3-4 hours of sleep.
