Bought baby food for the first time
It was kind of fun. Even though the doc said not to start it this week b/c she's had diareah the last few days and now is constipated, I wanted to have it on hand since I needed to go out and buy Karo syrup (who knew corn syrup helped constipation - not totally comfortable with the concept though). I had a coupon for Beechnut so I bought applesauce, bananas and pears. I also got a thing of rice cereal and a thing of oatmeal (rice if she's got diareah and oatmeal if she's consipated). I wanted to do the organic at one point, but it's more expensive and Beechnut had a bigger variety for it's regular stuff. Besides, I was raised on Beechnut (no organic in 1973) and I have no health problems. Anyway, just wanted to share the excitement. We turned 4 months this past Thursday... it's flying by! We're talking about baby #2 already!

DS is 8 months and I still love buying baby food for him! We only buy organic if there is a particular mix I want him to try. Otherwise we just buy the regular Gerber.
