When do you stop giving them a bottle and start with the sippy cup????

DS gave up the bottle cold turkey and took to the sippy cup by the time he was 13 months old.

I started at 6 months but he had no interested, tried again at 9 months and still no interest so after he was 1 I kept trying. He took to it little by little and finally at 13 months old, that was all he wanted.

I think I started with the sippy cup around 6-7 months old

I think I started with the sippy cup around 6-7 months old
And she stopped the bottle, I think about 15 months - I can't remember exactly - it took her a while though

Started the sippy with water at 6 months, stopped bottles cold turkey between 12 and 13 months.

Everyday I just put it on her tray with some cheerios and she would play with it. I would put it up to her mouth and put her hands on the handles, I would also drink out of a cup in front of her and she started mimicking me. She got the hang of it pretty quickly.
