I have the first one, it came with my order when I got the bottles. I thought 6 months might be too young but someone was telling me yesterday that their BFed niece wouldn't take a bottle but will take one of these and does fine with it!

I guess ill buy one and see how she does. I just dont want her to get attached to the bottle, so would like to nip in the bud asap.

this was the only sippy cup Ella would take at first. After she got used to this one, she was willing to consider others. I think I started her around 7-8 months. She was off the bottle before her 1st birthday.

I started giving them at 5 months- just so that he would get used to them. At 9 months he understands how to put it in his mouth, however, he has to be reclined to drink from it. He really loves the cut and gets very excited when he sees it. I have only ever given him water in it. (I BF and the bottles of EBM that he gets are in the Adiri Natural Nursers.)

ETA: The spouts actually fit the Born Free bottles.

I just bought the Nuby cups & it says it's for 3 months & up so that one should be fine too.

I also have a bf baby that won't take a bottle so I'll try any bottle or cup!

DS liked these, but he chewed through the spout and they started leaking. Go ahead and get her started at 6 months. She probably won't drink from it, but it will give her practice and she'll get used to it.

I have this one. DD started at 6mos with it. Took her a few attempts to kinda get the hang of it. She uses it a little bit now with a fair amount of success.
