I think i shouldnt have written "thriller". I want something in the lit fiction category but something haunting and compelling

i love everything by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child.
I can highly recommend anything by them...
The Relic (do NOT let the horrible movie fool you - they had nothing to do with it)
Reliquary (sequel)
are outstanding!
