Blockbuster online
Anyone have this? I like this better than netflix, because you get coupons for in-store movies also.
Can I sign up for an account, but have the movies shipped to a different address? We want to get DH's grandma a movie account, but she doesn't have a computer, nor does she have a blockbuster store near her. So, I would like to order the movies and have them sent to her directly. She can then drop them in the mail and return them.

I would call customer service first and make sure it's feasible, first and then if so, go for it! What a nice treat for your grandma!

I agree! As far as I know you can enter a different shipping address than billing address, so you most likely can do that!

We have it. It's great. So much better than Netflix IMO.
If you finish a movie and want another right away, you just take the movie that you were mailed into Blockbuster and exchange it for a new one.
And they give you two coupons a month for free rentals.
We pay 19.99 and if you are a big movie watcher it totally pays for itself.
Plus I found their shipping to be much faster than Netflix. I will put a movie in the mail on Monday and have a new one Wednesday.

I like them better than Netflix also. It's really great for us cuz DH gets tired of PS games quickly so we use the free rentals for his games in the store and mail the movies.
I had Netflix and would never go back.

I am a Store Manager for Blockbuster and yes you can bill to one person then ship to another..You can sign up online if you want at
Blockbuster.com/total
If you put in 36058b..I get credit..LOL

We use it too and its better then netflix. Faster. We get the movies within a 1 day turnaround. We have the 2 at a time, $14.99 plan, we usually get 8-10 a month for that price.

DH and I are so curious as to how the stores themselves make money.
We swear that we haven't paid at the location in almost a year. We often joke how they must hate to see us coming.
I assume the corporate HQ gives each store something for participating in the program?

Actually they tie the online to the stores..So each time you come in to the store and exchange your movies we get money as meaning it goes to the bottom line and also if we sign you up we get money towards the bottom line so in all we all make money..It is doing so well that they are adding little things extra for online members like you can get previewed movies for $3 for 20 versus what the regulare customers get 2 for 20 so they are really makeing it really worth it for everyone..
