Black & White Cookies

For the favors for DSs birthday THIS weekend I am doing black and white cookies. Originally I was going to bake them myself, but just baking what I am already when i don't have a working oven is enough for me! LOL. (I don't know what I was thinking HA)

So, anywhere know where I can get some black and white cookies? If they are on the smaller side, I will want each favor to have two cookies, so then I would need approx 160. Otherwise, if they are on the larger side, I'll need approx 80.

Someone told me they saw them at Costco awhile back....but I dont have a membership there. My friend was going to take me friday, but what if they in fact do NOT have them..? Then i don't have favors! lol.

I don't want to spend a fortune...obviously LOL... but really want to get a hold of these cookies. Any suggestions?? Is anyone planning on going to Costco and can let me know in fact they have them? Is it possible I can call them? LOL. They don't show them on their website.

Please help!!! lol

Re: Black & White Cookies

What about a special order form a bakery. Costco black and whites are gross. I got some a few weeks back, and after eating one, I brought them in to work, to get rid of them. I'm suprised people like them. Uncle Guispees have them every once and in a while and they where really good.

Re: Black & White Cookies

Thanks for all the replies! I def don't want a bad cookie!! LOL. That's why I usually always bake the favor myself! LOL. but I'm don't ALL the snacks for the party, plus enough cake for 80 people...I think that's enough baking for me with having to lug a baby and ALL the supplies to my inlaws LOL.

So the entermann ones are good... Hmm.. I'll call a few bakerys tomorrow and see what their prices are. Thanks soo much for all your help!!

Re: Black & White Cookies

I have seen them in Costco for sure. But you can also order the amount you need from Stop & Shop if you want to be safe.

Re: Black & White Cookies

I've gotten them from the bakery. And I don't get the full size ones. I ask for mini black and white cookies, and they are about twice the size of the Costco ones. They were FRESH and FANTASTIC!! They were less than $1 each. I don't know how much you were looking to pay. I also was able to get them in whatever colors I wanted. For DD's b-day I got pink & white; for a shower I did, I got 1/2 blue & white + 1/2 pink & white; for a 40th b-day I threw, I got colors to match my theme. Just something to consider...

Re: Black & White Cookies

Got a better place for you!

Jonathan Lord Bakery

http://www.jonathanlord.com/2343.html

-they make them individual and packaged by individual by the dozen.

Best is you can call ahead and get them made whatver colors you want.

I did them for my sons christening, blue and black.
My shower was blue and brown (milk chocolate).

THEY TASTE SO GOOD!
