Birthday Party Questions At Venues - Do you invite aunts/uncles/ people w/o any children?
I was just wondering.
DD is 3 yrs old and in the future i may throw her a birthday party outside of the house - a playrobics etc...something fun for the kids to enjoy.
Do you invite aunts/uncles and friends/family members that don't have any children? I would think it would be extremely boring for them to attend since its mostly fun for the kids and only a few hours long. Just curious.
Also - for my daughters 3rd birthday party we did pizza/cake in the house with my sister , brother and immediate family. We didn't invite 2nd cousins etc....(even though the kids are around the same age and we go to all their birthday parties ). I wanted to keep it simple and didn't want to deal with having a bunch of people and kids in the house etc... Would you get offended if you weren't invited to my kids party even though it was small and in the house?

My family will do a kiddie party at a place with friends then right after the adults/people without kids go back for another party.

For DS's 2nd we are inviting our friends and family that have kids
Then we are having aunts/uncles we are close with and grandparentrs
it wont be the 120 that were at his 1st bday but I have to draw the line

FOr bday parties that are out of the house, kids are invited only. No grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Just my childrens friends.

This year, for DS's b-day, we are inviting my sister and bil (they don't have DC), but that's it for family (DW's bro and sil have a DD, so they are invited). We plan on having something small at the house for the relatives later on in the day.
