"Big girl car seat"
My DD is 6 months old and i HAD to put her in the Big car seat. She is a big baby and no longer fits in the infant seat. i put it backwards and was just wondering when most people made the switch to forward. I know it usually is a year,just curious. THANKS

The minimum requirement is 1yr and 20lbs. DD didn't hit 20lbs till about 14mths. We left her backwards till she was 15mths.

By law, you have to wait till the baby is 1 year old and at least 20 lbs. Many babies hit 20 lbs before a year, but they need to stay rear-facing till they are at least 1.
FYI, my DD at 15 months (and 25 lbs) is still rear-facing.
