Better Call Saul
Do I need to watch all of Breaking Bad series before I watch Better Call saul? Will I understand what's going on if I don't watch it?

Better Call Saul
No. They are independent of each other. They will compliment each other but I don't think you need to watch both.

I don't think you have to. I don't remember half the shit that went on last season, much less from Breaking Bad which I watched a few years back
My mind has problems retaining TV show info for some reason.
Just be prepared for a VERY slow moving show with Better Call Saul. Half the times I fall asleep or fast forward. It's torture.

Just be prepared for a VERY slow moving show with Better Call Saul. Half the times I fall asleep or fast forward. It's torture.
Really? I had heard how good it was  I need a new show to watch so was going to check that out.

I know people love it.
I find it extremely slow moving- but more so this last season that's on now. I think it's the way it's shot. Very artistic but I don't need to see the wheels of a truck rolling down a dirt road for 5 minutes.
But that could be me. I have a low attention span for TV.
I couldn't get past one episode of House of Cards and people RAVE about that.
And Orange is the New Black was great for like 1-2 seasons and this last one I was bored to tears.
So don't go by me..

I couldn't even stick with Better Call Saul for the whole first season. I jumped ship early on. I wanted to like Better Call Saul because I loved Breaking Bad but I just couldn't deal with the dragging. I have too short an attention span.
OP - personally, I would recommend Breaking Bad over Better Call Saul if you want to choose between the two.
