Best time of day to OPK - box says A.M.
So the CBE opk with the  reads i can do it in the AM, but I read a recent post that recommended PM testing.
the box says i can do it any time of day, so i do it as soon as i get up. i drink & pee allll day!
i haven't gotten a yet and i'm CD16.
i tried the dollar tree ones last month, tested between CD11 - CD16 and never got a positive reading. i tested in the PM and do not prefer it over AM testing.
i may be a late O'er, but the recent post is making me think - maybe i should test later in the day?
this is my 2nd cycle using OPK's, so i still feel new to it.

i always use them after work around 5pm..
they say not to use the OPK's in the morning with FMU cause of how concentrated your urine is.. so you might get some false positives.. i know it does say to use in the morning with those kits.. i in fact asked my doctor too about it.. he said to use it later in the day so i would get a better reading!
i just try to drink alot less in those 4 hours of holding.. it makes it easier! sometimes i wont drink anything !

I always used it in the morning. I always got my around day 13....

the digital OPKs may be different than the ones with the lines. CBEFM also says to test with FMU because it doesn't just measure LH, it measures something else too (estrogen i think)
i used the OPKs with the lines because i found them easy to interpret. personally if the CBE digital instructions say to use FMU i would.

I use the same OPKs and I have done it in the early afternoon, late afternoon and late in the evening (close to 9pm) and I have never had a problem. I dont even hold my urine for 4 hours.

the best time to take the OPK is between 2pm-8pm when the LH is highest. Even though the box says the AM, the best time to take is is late afternoon/evening.

but then why does the box say FMU/ Anytime?

I got mine on day 14. I drinka ll day & pee all day too, so I have to do it in the a.m.
