Best time of day to buy running shoes?
I'm in desperate need of new ones and was wondering if it mattered?

I've always heard it's best to try them on at the end of the day I guess because your foot is probably as swollen as it's going to get? Honestly though I don't think it makes a difference - I never payed much attention to when I went shoe shopping.

I agree. I've never done this, but they say the end of the day is the best. This way you can make sure they are comfy when your feet are hurting.

No matter what you are going to make sure you have a thumbs width room between your longest toe and the tip of the sneaker in order to leave room for foot swelling. I never worried about the time of day I went...I workout just about every morning so I just assume my feet are as big as they will get especially if I ran that morning.
