Best Photo Prints Service?

I'm sure this has already been asked, but I'm a lazy mofo.

So what online service (whether they ship or offer pickup at a retail location) do you think has the best print quality for photos? Matte, 4X6 to be more specific.

I've used Shutterfly in the past, but I'm usually disappointed in the quality despite the fact that I always use hi-res images. I was just wondering if there's a better option to Shutterfly?


ETA: I use both iPhoto and Picasa for my images if that makes a difference. (I know they both offer links to printing sites like Snapfish and Shutterfly.)

I order from mpix a lot. Their quality is awesome.

I like the quality of the pix from Costco. I always just order the "Lustre," not the glossy.

I always use shutterfly though for my products (books, gifts, etc.) and I think the quality is awesome!

I usually use Shutterfly but this past week I uploaded some pics to Snapfish and had them printed out at Wal-Mart (matte 4X6 an 5X7) and they came out AMAZING!!!! Absolutely beautiful. The colors were so vibrant, I was blown away at how nice they came out. I placed my order through Snapfish and an hour later they were ready to be picked up. So cheap too!

I use Costco and love the way my pics come out, especially my vacation pics - the colors are so bright.

Mpix definitely. I've also heard good things about Adoramapix as well.

Shutterfly is no good. Mpix or Adoramapix are the way to go.

Walmart is really hit or miss, and I find them to be crap lately. At least the one near me. I needed some 8x10 photos in a pinch, and didn't want to pay mpix overnight rates. Picked them up, they just don't look good compared to what I get at mpix. All blotchy looking. So needless to say, they went in the trash and I paid the overnight fee.

I use walgreens all the time b/c i can get stuff same day at my local walgreens. even greeting cards i've made.

very good quality and you usually get promo codes emailed every week when you sign up.
