Best Birthday Party you've been to?
I'm looking for suggestions for places to have DS's 4th birthday. Prefer something near or within 10-15 minutes of Syosset/Woodbury/Plainview. Not looking for anything with inflatables, bounce houses, etc - DS is scared of them, lol.

Best Birthday Party you've been to?
I thought the Long Island Children's Museum did a nice party. We had my daughter's 4th birthday there and the kids enjoyed it.

Once upon a Treetop because they offered something for everyone
My Godson in CT- loves firetrucks. There's a special fire engine that comes to your house and takes the kids for a ride/tour of the truck... they get hats, souveniers etc. then he fires the hose at full throttle and the kids are all cheering and jumping up and down. It was such a different and neat idea. Everything was firefighter themed.

Firefighter museum (by LICM) which was awesome for my DS
We did pony rides at a stable for DD which was fun (and could be themed).
But our BEST was an "Octopus" birthday we did in our backyard. I tied streamers to balloons and kids loved it! We served Greek food with grilled octopus (which we should have ordered more of).
Bowling is a blast too with bumpers.
