At that age we did a music/ story time workshop at the library. Most library events are free, too
You could also try story time at B&N.

I go to My Gym in west babylon once a week. They have 4 free plays a week that I could go to also that are included in the price.

I have been considering starting DS in some swimming classes he's 6m.
Library classes are great too, and they are free

Saf-T-Swim has mommy and me classes for babies 2 months to 3 yrs old. They have a bunch of locations.

The YMCA has SKIP (swimming)- for baby & a grown-up.
