Bday Gift ideas for DH

I need ideas on a small gift for DH bday.
I dont want to spend too much, because we kinda already decided to not buy each other anything since we are planning a vacation for our anniversary, as well as buying some new furniture.

I know we agreed on not buying anything, but I still feel too guilty not giving him anything.

Oh and I guess the problem is that he really doesnt have any hobbies, with the exception of watching sports, so im kinda lost on what to get him

does he like to read? Maybe some new books... or a book on tape...or a travel guide for wherever you are going on your anniversary trip

magazine subscription

a jersey or something from his favorite team

a new movie/dvd

or make a "date night" in a box... buy movie ticket GC or a GC to blockbuster...
A bottle of wine...some popcorn....take him to dinner or make his favorite dinner at home...

do something fun together- wine tasting tour out east... a drive to the casinos in CT

does he have an Ipod? Maybe some Itune GCs
