Re: Bay window and Bow Window

Bays usually have 3 windows and are at a sharp angle.

Bows are curved and have 4 or more panes. We have a bow.

The first pic is the Bay, the second is the bow that we have.

A bay is more boxy and a bow is curved. I will see if I can find pictures.

so a bay window doesn't protrude outward? whereas a bow window does??

Re: Bay window and Bow Window

The bay doesn't come out as far. It is good for large openings. We replaced 3 regular windows with a bow for one large window.
