Basement Renovation Begins!
We've started our basement remodeling project finally. We had talked about adding another full bathroom downstairs but between being too expensive and problems meeting building code requirements we have decided to skip adding the bathroom for now and just concentrate on gaining additional space.
I forgot to take any before pics but you can still see part of the ugly old paneling from the previous owners.
Paneling comes off!

Waterproofing Begins!
Monday the waterproofers came to start working on the basement.
Monday was horrible with the jackhammer creating a trench around the outside of the basement.
Tuesday was a short work day for the waterproofers. They just finished the trench, laid the pipe and filled in with gravel.
Wednesday (today) the job will be finished (I hope!)

I'm sure everything will look great! We just got finished redoing our basement. I still need to get the pics. posted on here.
