I haven't been to Smokin Al's yet but a good friend of ours HIGHLY recommended this place- she said it was SO good!

you girls RULE - thank you so much!!!
I'm in Jersey (grew up in Lindy, got married in LI) - and my parents recently went to Sparky's in Farmingdale. They thought it was really good - but they JUST went this week and we want to go for dinner on Saturday and my dad whined about going to the SAME PLACE 2 days later...
We have Famous Dave's here too - my dave LOVES it...

Not yet. I drove by it the other day and there were the owners eating, but it clearly isn't ready for patrons yet. Probably in a few weeks.

Smokin' Al's in definitely the best bbq ever.
There is another place that's good - Bobbique - it's in Patchogue on Montauk Hwy across the street from the Brick house Brewery.

Smokin' Al's has delicious food. If you are looking for good food with an awesome, extensive beer list Bobbique is a great place!

Passed buy today and they haven't opened yet. Can't wait!
Adams Ribs in Massapequa Park is also pretty good.

There's also Red Smoke BBQ on Montauk Highway in Brookhaven (although I've never had).
Yeah, there are actually businesses in Brookhaven!
