Ok follow up to the posts on the baby name picks...

Since my names were shot down one after one, this is my suggestion -

The first time we were picking names, he stated as if it were a fact that if it were a boy, he would be Joseph Vincent. I said we're still deciding. But every time without fail, he gave the name as Joseph Vincent. He didn't like any of my names and kept repeating his name when people asked if we had any names.

The second time, I realized what he did. I picked two names, Charlotte and Madeline - and gave him the choice. He would repeat his names - and I would say "No, it's either Madeline or Charlotte"...sure enough came time for the birth he picked one of the names. I gave him the middle name to pick, I just wasn't expecting him to go for a car - Shelby, but I'm used to it now.

Bottom line - if you're having disagreements on the name - just say it as if it's been decided. Or you can do what my friend did when they couldn't decide. After she gave birth, she said "I really want to name her Brooke" - and her husband couldn't say no after watching his wife deliver.
