I have for DD the Summer Best View Day/Night monitor and never had any issues with it.
Just make sure whatever you get it's DIGITAL. Otherwise you risk other people picking up the signal and seeing your DC and vice versa.

we got the Best View by Summer..
it has pan and zoom.. so you can move the camera around with the handheld screen. which is color
we tried it out and it works awesome!! so glad we purchased it.
