Baby holding bottles

Do you teach them to do this, or, do they just 'get it'?

Re: Baby holding bottles

I taught DD how...by placing hands on bottle.
I also purchased the nuby bottles that had handles on them to help make it easier.

I tried placing their hands at about 7 months old and both of them looked at me like,

"No, you hold it. You're the mom! It's in the job descriptionChat Icon "Chat Icon

DD did it sporadically at 11 months old when she saw other babies doing it and DS never did it.

Re: Baby holding bottles

Elizabeth will put her hand on her bottle but is not really interested in holding it, since that's my job. I put handles on the bottle sometimes but she'll only grab one and then sometimes she just lets it go.
