baby carrier for older baby
DS is about 19lbs and I have the original baby bjorn but it's getting a bit snug.
I was looking at the BabyBjorn Comfort Carrier but it's $199... I was wondering if anyone had luck with any others?

We just bought one of those back pack ones at a garage sale this weekend, I can't think of the name of it but like you, the bjorn is becoming a little snug and hurts to wear front facing when all the weight is pulling at your shoulders/back.

I posted last week about getting an ergo carrier... it can be used on the front or the back and someone on here told me it was certified up to 40 pounds.. I think I'm going to get one for a trip I'm taking soon. DD loves her carrier but is getting too heavy for the one we use now

The Ergo is fabulous. I used it to carry around a 2 year old.

I am waiting for the beco gemini to come out and I am going to get that - its a front and back carrier. DS is 21 lbs.

My SIL uses the Ergo with our 3 year old niece and she absolutely loves it!! I will definitely be getting one also when Adam outgrows the Baby Bjorn.
