Atlantis, Bahamas

I am planning a family trip to stay there for my parents' 50 anniversary. Any recommendations on which tower to stay in or any info would be helpful/ Thanks.

Re: Atlantis, Bahamas

I've never stayed there, just visited for the day, but I do have friends who have gone. They all suggest getting the meal plan (breakfast and dinner) because food there is outrageously expensive. You will be on your own for lunch though- DH and I had nachos, two sandwiches, a beer and a Gatorade and it was like $50.

I have been there 2 times. The 1st time was our HM and we stayed in the Royal Towers and got the meal plan. The meal plan was sooooo worth the money--you get breakfast and dinner and we usually didn't eat lunch. Sometimes a few pina coladas by the pool or maybe a cereal bar (we brought a box with us).

The 2nd time we stayed at the coral towers--we had an ocean view with a full balcony and a table and chairs. We liked it better than the royal towers--in the royal towers it is not a full balcony. Also, I found the rooms in the coral towers convenient to everyting--and the pool by the roal towers was always soooo crowded--i always went to the pool by the coral towers. Just make sure if you stay in the coral towers to make sure you get a room in th tower and not in one of the "wings" They tried to put us there but they were too far way from everything.

Hope that helps! Chat Icon
