at what age do babies...
start grabbing for objects or hanging things on their play mats and swings? She is 8 weeks old today and i know she looks at these things and coos at them and stuff but doesnt grab yet is that normal?

DD is 5 months and I can't really remember when she started. I started puting toys in her hands and helping her put them up to her mouth very early on and eventually she started to do it on her own. Help her to do things you think she is not ready for yet. It will challenge her and encourage her to do it on her own. Have fun!

No worries - she is still trying to focus. I would agree that 3 months or older. I too thought that things were suppossed to move along a little faster but believe me they do everything when they are ready. She still hasn't really figured out what those adorable hands are really for....
