What age did you start giving all table foods and no more baby food??

I just started giving Michael more table food. He totally refused to eat baby food anymore and I had to give him something else besides yogurt. He will now eat anything that he can feed himself. I've given him chicken, bits of hamburger, scrambled egg, turkey breast (boars head), and french toast.

Maddie on the other hand, still likes her baby food and hasn't taken a liking to table food. I put it on her high chair in case she'll try it, but she still gets baby food.

I'm trying to make the transition now... but I have made more purees to keep in the freezer just in case they stage a revolt

I've been doing egg, stews, minestrone and real oatmeal mixed w/ fruits. They're slowly becoming more and more accustomed to the new textures. They're not feeding themselves yet (w/ the exception of a puff or two).

8 months we were completely on tablefood. I think that's relatively early, but she didn't want the stuff I pureed anymore, so we went with it. Granted I shred chicken and basically made the veggies so soft they'd fall apart in her mouth, but 8 months, I definitely stopped making babyfood.

By 10 months - 1 year both my kids were on more table food than baby food. My son was easier, if we were out, he would eat some baby food from a jar, but my DD full out refused it all by 1 year. I have very good eaters too.

Christopher still likes the baby food, Matthew is HATING the baby food and pushes it away. He is LOVING table food, which gets mostly on him, then in his mouth.

DS is 9 months and is starting to want only table food. he still gets a little baby food but it is minimal

I would start phasing them out around 10 months or so. I didn't do that with Alex because I was paranoid he wasn't getting enough vitamins and now at 2+ he is the pickiest eater. No meats, no veggies and a few fruits. He will still eat baby food squash. It is very frustrating and I think it is because I stuck with baby food too long.

I just dont know if he is satisfied...and dont know what else to feed him to make sure he is gettiing all his vitamins

before she turned a year, but I can't remember exactly how many months it was when we stopped.

I have jars around for as long as I can, well past 18m.

Im very nervous with table foods,and lways have jars as backup way past the days of eating table foods.

we're on the run alot, so I never know if they'll eat what we encounter (that sounds funny ) so I play it safe and have jars always.

DD has starting refusing baby food and loves table food. Anything she can feed herself. She is 10 month. She had pizza and some green beans for dinner tonight Oh, and of course some puffs...we have puffs as an apetizer before EVERY meal

James is 10 months and is eating table foods, but I still have him on the baby food, too. So for now I'm doing both. It's easier when I'm out to have the jars handy.

Almost 14 months and still on it, but fazing it out. She has a little table food at all her meals now and is getting to the point where she pushes the baby food away (this just happened tonight).

Nikolas is still mostly on baby food, and he'll be 9 months old in a few days..

I am finding that he is a very picky 'table food' eater so far So many things he loves in baby food (like bananas or veggies) he seems to hate when given to him as table food. So per my doctor's suggestion, I'm just introducing things slowly to him and not pushing it too much... I know he'll get into the food when he's ready, and he really likes his baby food still.. so I don't think he's quite there yet

hannah is 13 mos and still eats baby food but she loves table foods especially frittatas, fruits, pasta, toast and cheese,

abby is 11 months & rarely has baby food anymore. but, i find that it is super convenient if we are out of the house & i need a healthy meal for her.

i've found that the absolute easiest thing for her at home is the stop & shop brand, nature' s promise frozen mixed vegetables. i pour some out into a bowl, microwave them for a few seconds, and she gobbles them up. they are super soft, she doesn't even chew them, just swallows them whole half the time (they come out that way too!!) no preservatives, organic. they also make edamame, which she loves. those require chewing though.

DD got "some" baby food up until last month. We have been slackers at transitioning her 100%. oh yeah she is 17 mos tomm.
