Are there any "crossover" SUV's with a 3rd row?
We are considering getting a new (or "certified used") SUV next year and I think we should have something with a 3rd row option. We love the Murano, but that's only 2 rows. Are there any crossover style SUV's (thinking low gas consumption, etc) that have the 3rd row option? Any that you would recommend we look at? TIA!

i have the Santa Fe and i know it has 3rd row seating..
i love this SUV.. warranty is excellent, the gas mileage is good, and the cost is affordable!

the subaru B9 tribeca has this option too. my mom had it (not with the 3rd row) and she loved it.

Yes, I have a CUV (crossover) with a 3rd Row. The Buick Enclave. Absolutely LOVE it. It's the same Llambda platform as the GMC Acadia, Chevy Traverse and Saturn Outlook. Mazda CX-9 is also a great option.

I just got a new CX-9 a few months ago. It has the 3rd row and I have 3 kids and it's great. Plenty of room. I never bought a Mazda before but this is by far the best car I've owned.

Awesome, this is our second choice behind the Murano, but since I now know the CX-9 has a 3rd row, that's even better!

It's just that all the GM makes of are very similiar for this type of crossover. Aside from a few mechanical and cosmetic features, you will find the bases of the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, Chevy Traverse and Saturn Outlook very similar.

I have the 2009 model, which is now called the Tribeca (dropped the B9), with the third row. I love it.
After driving a huge SUV for many years I was ready for a change. With the third row down the trunk is huge.
I also decided to seriously consider thsi vechicle after researching crash test ratings and reliability.
I've been driving it since June and so far so good.
I will however say that for my needs its fine but the third row would be a PIA if you have car seats in the middle.

i have a cx9 has a third row and hard for me to get kids in and out of the 3rd row. really wanted the acadia but they didnt have any deals when we go the mazda. the acardia has the option of 2 captain chairs with access to the 3rd row so you dont have to fold seats to get into the 3rd.
