anyones dc get car sick?

my 14 month old throws up lately when we take a 20+ minute drive. Even if it's been hours since he's eaten or drank. what can we do? is there a motion sickness med? if we turn his seat around would it make it better? this just started happening within the last month. he hasn't held down dinner in almost a week and he has other eating issues so this is just making things so much worse.

my sister in law had this problem with my nephew and she got some kind of bands to put on his wrists (like sweatbands kind of) It worked well for him!
