Anyone watch True Blood (possible spoiler)
what on earth was the thing that attacked Sookie and is the new waitress one??

IN the book the creature is called a Maened. I believe it's Maryanne related. The show seems to be going in a completely different direction so we shall see what Alan balls take is. Mary ann isn't in the books at all so it's nice to be surprised with all these new characters.

I stopped (at least tried to) look for connections to the books because its crazy how different it is butI am enjoying the show.
The "bull monster" was scary looking when you saw that distant view of it.

I think you might be right b/c did anyone notice how Daphne's eyes seemed to be black when she was talking to Sam, kind of like how the other party goer's eyes had turned black? Was she at the party? I don't remember.
No matter how many times I watch this show, I always jump when Erik does his vampire thing when he's mad or when any of the vampires move super fast. I love Erik's character though.
