Anyone using Southside Hospital? Or have info about it?
I am fed up with my currrent obgyn practice! I have been trying to get blood work info for almost a month now and everytime I call they tell me they can't find my chart and someone will call me back. I'm still waiting for that call!!!
So I talked to a friend of mine and she actually left the same practice and moved over to Oakdale OBGYN. I called today and made an appointment to meet the doctor. They are affiliated with Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. I don't know too much about Southside so if anyone has any info (both good or bad...would love to hear more good though) I would really appreciate it.

Can't help you, but I'm interested as well. My drs are affiliated with Good Sam & Southside. I haven't heard of too many girls delivering there though

My sister had 3 kids at Good Sam and loved it. For the last she took a tour of Southside since she wanted her tubes tied and didn't like it.

My SIL delivered there & had no complaints. I believe they updated the maternity ward in recent years.

I am switching doctors as well, and just got a rec for Oakdale OBGYN. I guess they are really good. The other rec was from a doctor who delivers at good sam. So if anyone feels they know which is better, I would like to know this info as well!
