Anyone planning ahead?
We're (obviously) not even pregnant yet, but we're already planning on our second baby!
We decided that we will try right away after having our first, since we never know how long it will take!
Am I crazy? Or does anyone else plan ahead too?

DH and i think we only want one child but i can easily say that if we knew we wanted 2, i would wanna get started soon after #1 bc #1 hasnt been easy

I am not even married or ttc yet, and here I am on the TTC board planning for after my wedding. Not only that, but depending on how long it takes to get pregnant I have different go to plans!
So you are not the only crazy person!

I do this with everything in life- it drives DH crazy! He's always saying "Don't get ahead of yourself!"
I'm kind of thinking like this as well for the 2nd...but like I said, DH would never want me to get ahead of myself.

I want to start TTC for #2 as soon as Baby #1 is 1.5 years old. I read some articles stating that 2.5-3 years is optimal sibling spacing.

last year i was like 2 months pregnant and starting to plan what i wanted on a registry(Only to lose it anyways)...

Absolutely! DH and I have already started talking about how far apart we want our children to be. I don't think it's a bad thing to try to plan ahead. It keeps us moving forward in life!

I always thought I would wait until Baby #2 was out of diapers and spread them out since DD will be 8 (or 9!) by the time we have baby #2. I didn't wasnt 2and 3 to be so close in age.
But now I am thinking, maybe we'll just do a whatever happens, happens kind of thing.
This not getting PG thing stinks!

well due to my age I have to..I am still trying to get pg with #1 and depending upon when and how that happens I will start to plan #2 if there is to be another..

Same here, although it's due to DHs age and we're casually trying to get pg now.

When we finally conceive this may be the last DC. We are going through a lot just to get pregnant this time around. I don't know if I can or even want to do this all over again.
