Anyone NOT into decorating this year?
I love the holidays and I am getting into the spirit, I just don't feel like schelpping all my boxes out. Not sure what is wrong with me this year!

We decorated outside. I don't want to put out the tree and the inside decorations because we are int he process of finishing our basement so we have all of the stuff that was downthere upstairs and there isn't room for more junk to be out!
DH snuck a few things out today though.

 nope, unless i get back into the house i might just have time for a tree, and if it was not for kryssy , i would not even be doing that

We are working on DH's office, then the nursery and I just can't deal with having a bunch of stuff all over. So no, I don't have any desire to decorate this year. Not yet - but we don't start until Dec. 10 or so anyway.
Maybe things will change by then...

We haven't started yet, and might not this year. We did before, but my DD took over my computer room, so the PC room took over the dining room, so we have no room for a tree now.... We might get a small tree and find a place for it somewhere.

Try lighting some holiday candles and putting on Christmas music! Works for me

I'm only putting a tree with some lights up this year. We'll be moving mid December, so it will be a waste to FULLY decorate.

I could have wrote the exact same thing....I normally love this time of year, but this year, I just want to blink and have it be over. The thought of writing Christmas cards out is completely overwhelming me....

Oh man, all I did this whole weekend was decorate my house. What a nightmare. I wanted to kick DH's a$$ because I do the damn tree alone. I have like a million ornaments on my tree, it sucks.
I don't mind doing the outside lights, especially because the weather was PERFECT this weekend to do it. Then again, I don't have to go on the roof, DH does.

our kids are big now & don't help so I'm not really into it either.
In the past we've put up a HUGE real tree in the great room & a fake one in the family room/basement, plus I've got decorations for every room, even the bathrooms. I have two different villages that I used to alternate-haven't put them out in a few years now.
Little by little each year I put out less, this year I think I'm just using the fake tree in the great room & putting out a few other small things. Its not that I don't like Christmas, I'm just tired of making so much work for myself.

I get worse each year. I can't stand the clutter and dusting around things. I put out less and less things each year.
