anyone know what happaned in merrick area?
My sister lives in North Merrick and called and said they lost power. Her mailman told her there was a bad accident. There were helicopters flying all over. Anyone know what happaned?

hmmmm I was in merrick on sunrise and nothing was going down. I did hear on the radio that a transformer was down on Merrick Ave but it sounded like it was in East Meadow.
