Anyone know if Mystic Aquarium is better than Riverhead in winter?

Anyone know if Mystic Aquarium is better than Riverhead in winter?
We are planning a day trip with the boys early next week - trying to figure if Mystic has more exhibits. Anyone been to them recently (during winter months)? I've been to both but haven't done Mystic since DH & I were dating so that's a while ago

Go to Mystic!!!
Is there enough indoors to do or are we going to be freezing our butts off walking around outdoor exhibits? Thanx!

DH & I were there in July on a really cold day for that month, and we did lots indoors.

We went early March last year. It was freezing but we still had a good time. There were still outdoor exhibits and plenty to see inside, but it only required say a few hours...though I'm sure DS would have liked it to go again...I would go again in the winter.

I think Mystic Aquarium is much better! Plus you can go to Mystic Pizza for dinner. Soooo good.
