No idea, really. But if you really do have concerns about your daughter's weight and caloric intake, it might be a good idea to consult with a pediatric nutritionist. We did that when we decided to raise Alex vegetarian, to make sure we knew how to properly supplement, and what kind of substitutes were adequate and healthy. We only consulted with her once, but the information she gave us was invaluable.

dunno if gender plays a role but my sons gi says children his age should eat 1000 cals. a day. he's 2.
