Anyone know anything about these nursery schools?
Big Chief in East Meadow
Maplewood in Wantagh
South Shore in Bellmore
Merrick Woods in Merrick
My friend is looking into these for her DD, and I thought I would help her out by seeing if any moms on here had first hand experience! TIA!

Ha!!! Sadly enough I actually went to Maplewood-I only went for summer camp though and at the time my friends family owned it-I do not think they are the owners anymore so I can't comment on it now but back in the day it was great!!!

Maplewood is owned by the Pierce family. They have another facility in Roslyn I think. I've heard good things, I know it's the most expensive school in Wantagh. When I looked into it I liked the curriculum. I will say that don't like the location. I've seen a few near accidents when kids are coming & going since it's right on Wantagh Ave.
I asked my neighbor about all the Wantagh nursery schools (she's a kindergarten teacher in Levittown) and she said Maplewood is a good program. She preferred a different school in Wantagh that we were considering so that's where we sent dd and we're really happy with it. We're sending ds there next year as well. FM if you want the info for your friend.
