anyone know about student loans?
It's been awhile since I had to deal with them, but I rcall many of my classmates being single moms, etc. going to school and one even bought a new car with her money.
My question is, if you are married with a family and living expenses, if you take out a student loan, can you ask for more than enough to cover tuition...like enough to live on and pay bills and stuff?
And is it only for full time status or can you get student loans like that for PT status??

I know people that have taken out loans for part-time course work...I don't know if you can take out more than school costs though. I'll see if I can find a link.

not sure if it'd be PT or FT and he needs to finish his bachelors. He may be going for a Paramedic degree

i am not sure if you can still do this. I know you could do it years ago but they are getting stricter and stricter. Good luck! I have so much out in loans I dont think they will ever end
