has anyone hosted a pampered chef party at your house? i was thinking of doing this as sort of a housewarming to all my female family members/friends... how was your experience, does the consultant cook? is there a fee?

i love it. we do it as a party when we do it. have drinks and appetizers passed around. it lightens up the atmosphere a little so people don't fee like they are forced to be there. kwim?

i love their stuff! they have a garlic peeler that is AMAZING and works like a charm!!

have fun!

I just had one last Fri. and got $150 free in products. The consultant made a dish, but I had to buy the ingredients and whatever else I put out (dip, cheese/crackers, etc.). If you need a consultant, mine was great!

Re: anyone host a pampered chef party?

I have had 2. The consultant spoke to me about what to make. My first one we had turkey chili and my 2nd party we had a chicken pasta. I have been to ones where they made a taco ring or veggie pizza

there was no fee. I just had to buy all the ingredients.

I got sooooo much free stuff and an awesome discount! So worth doing. I wanna do another one next year.

I loved it when Jen299 hosted her Pampered Chef party. Great way to see friends, eat good food and buy good stuff for the kitchen!

Re: anyone host a pampered chef party?

I have hosted a few pampered chef parties and also attended a couple. THey are a lot of fun. A good way to socialize and catch up with friends. The consultant will give you some recipees to choose from, you pick one, purchase the ingredients and then the consultant cooks/prepares and demos some gadgets and products. It is great!

There is not a fee. Actually based on your sales, you will get great products. It is definitely worth it!

I hosted one at my house. It was tons of fun. The consultant brought everything needed to make some appetizers and cleaned up everything. I got a ton of free products as well. Loved having it.

I just had one today as a matter of fact! A very good friend of mine sells Pampered Chef and she does a wonderful job. She cooks a meal and dessert and all you have to do is buy the ingredients.
You get a ton of free stuff and discounts galore!

Let me know if you want her name, she travels all over to do parties and she's awesome!
