ANYONE here have or know anyone who uses a mothers helper??

what do you pay an hour?
My mom stays in the house or goes shopper or to her office for 2-3 hrs with a girl on her block, who turned 16 last week, she doesnt stay alone, just comes over the house or goes to the store or my moms office w/ her to help w/ Sam

she has to pay her something this week and doesnt know what to give her, she thinks 6-7 an hr? Is that good? should it be more or less?

I paid a girl who was in the 8th grade (15 y.o.) 6/7 and hour and bought her lunch...I was told that was ok b/c she was only watching one child and he is still pretty young (4.5 months)...

curious to see what others have paid...

I'm so glad you posted this -- I just met a 13 year old who wants to be a mother's helper this summer.
I'm planning on paying her $25 a day (4-5 hours). She seemed really happy with that. Cole's only 4 1/2 months old, and I'll be in the house the whole time, so I really can't see paying more than that. I'll also buy lunch and pay for any activities she tags along for.

My neice comes over sometimes during the day while FH has to run to his job for a few hours or does some errands and we give her like $30 and pay for her cab. She is usually there for 5 to 6 hours but not all the t ime by herself if she is by herself we will give her a little more. Also its not everyday
