Anyone heard of a calcium deposit?

my ds is 7 weeks old and has had a bump on his eyebrow bone since Thanksgiving. Of course we have asked his ped what it is since it is staying the same size. She said she wants to "keep an eye on it" that is it. It isnt affecting him in any way. My sil mentioned a calcium deposit but I have never heard of it. Any suggestions?

I used to have a calcium deposit on my wrist. It grossed me out, but it wasn't a bad thing. It disappeared one day and I haven't seen it since!
I'm pretty sure, as long as it stays the same size, it's pretty harmless.

DD had a calcium deposit on her heart in-utero they thought it was a spot buit it was a calcium deposit that later went away but that is the only time I heard of it

I had one on my shoulder, wasnt a big deal. Eventually it got bigger (but not bigger visibly from the outside) and it started to hurt a little. I had it removed and was fine, wasnt a big deal.

A calcium deposit or a chalazion?

I used to get chalazions a LOT, but on my eyelid. A warm compress helps reduce the swelling if it is big. Honestly it doesn't hurt at all, just looks bad so I wouldn't subject a baby to the compress if they don't like it a lot. But all this goes out the window if it isn't a chalazion.

I have never heard of that. My sil mentioned the calcium deposit. It is right above his eyebrow on the bone. It is hard so the doc dint think t is a tumor unless it is a boney tumor but she wants to wait a month or so to see if it gets bigger. I might try a compress to see if it does anything.
