Re: Anyone have any of these play area gates?

We got the 2nd one from one of the girls here on LIF. We needed something to go around our fireplace b/c Kaydyn was climbing up there and not knowing how to climb down/also she was getting into the fireplace itself.

I don't know about the metal one, but the plastic one comes apart in 2 piece sections so we were able to make it smaller to fit the space we needed. We've never used it outside or anything though.

thanks! chels is starting to crawl everywhere and we're primarily in the living room, so I want to just enclose a play area for her in case I need to run ot the kitchen right by the living room for a sec and not have her get into any trouble. Would you say the gate is sturdy bc Chels def likes to push things and see if she can get them to move...

That's why we never set it up as an actual play area...Kaydyn is a beast and can lift chairs and push furniture so I knew that wouldn't contain her Chat Icon We use our pack and play to contain her when we have to run out of the room for a little bit. We really only use this to block off the fireplace (and Christmas tree) and we wedge them in but she still tries to move them.

I used gate 2 with an extension.

It was perfect when DS outgrew the PNP but still needed him contained.

I have 2 sets of the Superyard. I use it constnatly, had it before DD for my dogs. It works great, very adjustable.

We have the first one with an extension. We love it. We plan on getting a second extension. Abby also pulls to stand on the bars. We got ours from Walmart and shipped to the store.

Stands up good, but can be moved. DD is trying to move them right now. It can be pushed easily by a child but helps to block in general.

thanks, how big is it with the extension? I want something that'll fit in our living room but not massive, but still give her enought room to move around...

We have the 2nd one, the superyard. The basic model is not very big, an extension is definitely needed.
