Anyone have a DC that is a light sleeper??
OMG, how do you deal..I'm a light sleeper so I'm not surprised DD is, but I mean she wakes up when the phone rings, when I get up from the chair when I walk up the stairs!!!! Any advice???? I keep the tv on or some music or noise during the day so that she's used to it, but if anything out of the ordinary happens she's wide awake!!!

Re: Anyone have a DC that is a light sleeper??
my DS is a very light sleeper. My DD is a heavy sleeper at night, but light during a nap. They both have sound machines and I tend to be VERY quiet around nap time and go downstairs to the family room at night. The ringer usually gets turned off when they sleep. My phone lights up, so I can tell if someone is calling. Not the best advice but it works. The only thing I can't control is the doorbell (although I do put a sign out do not ring if I'm expecting someone) or one of them crying and waking up the other (knock on wood, hasn't happened at night, but they do wake each other up at nap time)
It's annoying and I swore I'd never do it, but for peace and quiet I'll do anything

It's a little too early to tell-- but Sasha does jump when the phone rings, when a cabinet door closes, etc. They tell you that it's so loud in the womb and babies can sleep through anything-- but, I have found she can deal with constant noises, not sudden ones.

DS is an extremely light sleeper...when I check on him during the night I literally RUN out of the room so he doesnt see me
I have no idea what will happen when his bro or sis joins him in a few months

Mila sleeps through almost anything, but i think its cause we tend to be insanely loud people anyway, and shes just used to it...do you have a noise machine in her room??
