Anyone have a checklist...
on what needs to be done after someone dies?
So far all I did was contact Life Insurance. I am clueless... HELP!!!

I do not have a checklist but for my Grandmother I know my mom had to go to the social security office.
I think she also contacted her bank and got her banking in order, my mom was the executor of her estate.
That is all I could think of off the top of my head.

Julz, if your mother had a will, it might be wise to hire an estate attorney because it can get complicated and overwhelming. I purchased an online booklet that provides extensive guidance on all the first steps - if you FM me with your email address, I'll send it to you

We didn't have to go to Social Security, you can just call them. Call any retirement Accounts or Pensions, Health Insurance maybe?
