Anyone have a blood collection of clot on their placenta?
I have a "blood collection" on top of my placenta. I have been monitored for the past 2 weeks and it has basically doubled in size. The doc told me if it keeps getting larger it can push behind my placenta and cause placenta abruption. I am so nervous I am only 26 weeks that they said I can pretty much bleed at any time and I am at really high risk of going into premature labor. I am in the middle of moving, I have a 2 1/2 year old and I work full time. I dont know what to do. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Can they put you on a blood thinner like Lovenox? A lot of us are on Lovenox for the course of our pregnancies to prevent blood clotting.

I had a huge hematoma back at 7 weeks and it bled out on its own by approx. 14 weeks.

Unfortunatly my doc said there isnt anything I can do. Putting me on bed rest wont make it go away (his exact words) SO I am just waiting it out. I am sure everything will be fine but I cant help myself to worry for the health of ds and myself.

I am pretty sure Dr. Kofinas is an expert in this type of thing. You might want to consult with him.
