Anyone going to the Home Show at Farmingdale college this weekend?

Was thinking about it. I went to the one at Nassau Coliseum and it was ok, I don't think I would go again though.

If we have nothing going on, might take the ride over there and walk around.

I went to one a few years ago. Isn't anything to brag about, mostly vendors showcasing their products (such as siding, landscaping, pools, brickwork, basement refinishing, etc). I would not go unless I had a) work to do b) was extremely bored c) just like browsing the above stuff.

Eh, I went to one they had at SCCC and it was OK...Nothing to write home about really.

But then again I'm kind of spoiled b/c I've been to the contractor's show which is a professionals convention. THAT is amazing... it's HUGE!!!

But you have to be in the biz to go and it's out in Vegas.

I went to the one last year. I don't think I would go again. Just a bunch of vendors trying to sell their services or product. Didn't really get anything out of it. If you are in the market to shop for contractors, then it's a good place to go and look and get some info.
