Anyone Get on the Sunken Meadow this morning in Commack??
There were 3 police officers doing random seatbelt and reg sticker checks!! I felt like saying 'do you guys watch the news - there are bombs on the Subways and other unforgivable crimes going on but wait here - i think that there is a vehicle a few cars back from me who has been slacking on their oil changes!!!'.

The problem with that is... they are Long Island cops. The city is not within their jurisdiction.
Also... it is possible that maybe the terrorists are hanging out in Long Island and in order to do damage to the subways they must travel to Manhattan first? A stop like this would be handy.

I must've missed it - i took it all the way from Fort Salonga to the LIE, but that was 7:30 this morning.
