Anyone elses dog not sitting for "holiday" pics?

My dogs were not having it....they Refused to put the Santa hat or reindeer antlers on and I couldn't get all three of them to sit still in front of the tree...
so our holiday card....its not very "holidayish." I'm not really bummed, b/c the pics I used are cute...but just wondering if my dogs are the only prisses that wouldn't take pics?

I used chicken. My dog will do anything for chicken. Its a total bribe. I make him sit and I hold the chicken by the camera as he stares at it while DH takes the pics.

I give him tiny pieces in between pictures just to reward him for staying.

My dogs won't sit still either. If I put anything on them they bounce around trying to get it off

It took me over an hour to get my christmas pics. The big guy was fine. It was the little guy i had a problem with. Then i had to do shot after shot trying to find the right setting on my camera. Still not 100% happy with them but I was not going to sit there for another hour.

We woke Marley up to take the pics. She was so tired, that she just sat there while we put the hat on. Then we put her on a pillow and I held a wreath in front of her face while DH called her name and took pics. Had she been awake, we would not have tolerated it

I tried to put a Santa hat on Kasey the other night. She didn't cooperate. Instead she tried to play with it and would've had a grand ol' time getting the ball off the end if I hadn't taken it away from her.

Maybe we'll try it again later. If I can get her good and tired first.

My doggie is the opposite & seems to enjoy when we put things on her (clothes, hats, etc.)

quinn ripped his antlers off repeatedly. finally when i got him to keep them on, he sat for exactly one picture - and he was glaring at the camera. he glares i tell you. he HATES taking pictures, christmas or otherwise.

Believe me, we tried dangling treats...but all of them just stared up at DH who was holding the treats and not at the camera...then Jessi ripped off the antlers and ran upstairs.
I usually can get them alone to take pics, but they must have had some secret plan not to take holiday pics, like "she's making us dress up, RUN!"

Shutterfly has a few cards where you can do 3 different pics. What about a pic of each of them. It might be a little easier.

try when they are really sleepy - either just going down for a nap or when they in the middle of sleeping. if i wake char up she is like a zombie lol
