Anyone elses DC start stuttering out of no-where ar age 3 ???

This is the weirdest thing...My DS (who's extremely well spoken-bout a week ago started stuttering on the letter "W".....Like he will start to say
WWWWWWWWWhat are you doing mommy ? etc...I don't know if this is something that he picked up at nursery school ( he only started 2 weeks ago) or if he is thinking faster than he can spit the words out now or what...I will tell him "only say it one time" and he will correct himself and say it slowly, but its really odd...Hoping its just a passing phase because he is a very articulate speaker and this is really out of character for him....(On a side note, my little man learned his phone # and can say it out loud- little trick we taught him to pick up chicks at the playground- LOL )

its common for kids to stutter a bit...
I would seek help if you have:
a family history of stuttering
stuttering that has continued for 6 months or longer
presence of other speech or language disorders
strong fears or concerns about stuttering on the part of the child or the family

No probs! My friends son just started to do it too and he just turned 3.
Just keep an watchful ear...
He probably just has so much to say and is trying to get it out too fast!
